The Inside Sales position requires an energetic, service-oriented and highly motivated individual. Ideal candidates will have experience with inside sales or customer service in a luxury market.  You will be responsible for qualifying sales leads throughout the United States.  You will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to follow through on leads and opportunities and ultimately close sales.  This role requires initiative, creativity, critical thinking, business acumen and strong communication skills.  The ideal location for this position is based out of our Grand Rapids, MI headquarters, but candidates will also be considered who work remotely while residing in West Michigan.

This role requires a strong work ethic and good time/project management skills in accordance with the core values of Scott Group Studio.

PRIMARY DUTIES
Qualify all leads generated by Marketing and hand over “warm” leads to Showroom sales team
  • Provide feedback to Marketing on quality of new leads.
  • Research publications, social media, and industry events to identify target accounts.
  • Qualify target accounts and connect them to Scott Group Studio. 
  • Maintain status of all target accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with Scott Group Marketing to support High Value Account and E-Commerce efforts.
  • Visit SGS showrooms as necessary to support customer projects and grow relationships with the Showroom sales team.
ABILITIES
  • A minimum of three years of relevant inside sales or customer service experience in support of external sales teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to aggressively pursue opportunities and new accounts
  • Knowledge of luxury interiors, textiles, and/or design related experience.
  • Strong communication skills with an outgoing, customer focused, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Prompt customer response time
  • The skills to use our CRM (Salesforce) as your tool for growth
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications, or related field is preferred
